Natalie S, Ryklee B, Anthony J, Emmerson P and Isabell M entered work into the Waxhaw Arts Council Show representing ILHS this week. Anthony J won 1st Place for his drawing "Gowon'' and Emmerson P won 3rd Place for her painting "Black Forest Cake".
13 students represented ILHS at the Limestone Band Clinic last Thursday and Friday. Three of these kids earned first chair in their section. The students worked hard, learned a great deal, and are continuing to build lasting relationships.
Full Prom information will be sent to all juniors and seniors via their school email in February.

Off-season workouts start on January 29th at 7:30 am. Workouts will be Monday through Thursday each week till May. We will have an interest meeting on Wednesday, January 24th at school to review expectations and goals. The meeting should last no more than 15 minutes. The winter choir concert is tomorrow evening, Dec 15, 2023, in the auditorium at 7:00pm. It will feature all of our traditional choirs as well as some small groups of students. Admission is free for everyone with donations accepted at the door. The show will probably last about an hour. We'd appreciate any and all support.
