Saturday, ILHS Track and Field competed in the Bob Jenkins Coaches Classic at South Pointe High School. There were 16 teams there from all over the upper state of South Carolina. This meet is the qualifier for the Elite meet in April. We were able to have numerous student athletes that qualified to compete with the top athletes in the State in all divisions. Below were our top performers of the Meet. We had one student athlete who won the whole meet in his event. Sequel Patterson came in 1st place in High Jump. We also had a school record broken by sophomore Ryan Foster in the 400m, placed second in the meet but ran a 48.64. (For those who do not know a 400 is a full lap around the track lol) Our boys program came in 5th overall and our girls program came in 8th overall. GO WARRIORS!!!
